Refunds

Contributions are non-refundable. Points are credited to a team the moment payment clears and cannot be withdrawn, moved to another team, or exchanged.

Specifically not refund reasons

• Your team was overtaken. This is the product working correctly.
• You backed the wrong team by mistake.
• You changed your mind about the amount.
• Somebody said something you disliked in a message.

When we will refund

These are the cases where something actually went wrong, and they are honoured:

• You were charged and no points were credited.
• You were charged more than once for the same contribution.
• You were charged an amount other than the one you chose.
• The payment was not authorised by the cardholder.

Write to hello@bestfootballteaminthe.world with the date and amount. Genuine cases are refunded in full, and the corresponding points are removed from the team.

Who processes it

Dodo Payments is the merchant of record, so an approved refund is issued by them and returns to your original payment method. Their timing applies, typically five to ten business days.
